The Effect of Kinesiological Taping Applied to the Tibialis Anterior Muscle on Gait Parameter in Stroke Patients

Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the immediate effect kinesiological taping on tibialis anterior muscle with stimulation technique gait parameters in individuals stroke. Material and Methods: included 28 stroke patients a mean age 53.57±12.38 years. Gait analysis was performed participants at different times sham (plaster-rigid) without any intervention. Kinesiological applied using technique. Sham along from origin insertion, ankle neutral position, applying tension muscle, skin or tape. were evaluated BTS G-Walk Analysis System. Results: According data obtained as result evaluations, it concluded that not statistically significant (p> 0.05). In addition, superior each other Conclusion: sufficient improve functions patients.
